Odisha Research Centre (ORC), Bhubaneswar, an ICSSR grant-in-aid research institute, carries out advance interdisciplinary research on Odisha’s society, history, culture, economy, ecology and development.

By mapping the issues and challenges of contemporary Odisha, ORC is committed towards building a database repository that has a bearing on its future growth.

ORC also encourages the exploration of the distinctive and nuanced narratives that have shaped Odisha’s history—from its ancient maritime connections and artistic traditions to its diverse and evolving living heritage.
